Counseling & Psychological Services
Mental health services for students include: individual therapy, consultation, stress/test anxiety management, work-life balance, and psychoeducational testing for learning disabilities. Justin Barker, PSY.D, Assessment Coordinator/Licensed Psychologist will be on the USU-Brigham City campus every Monday and Thursday and can also work with students over IVC connections. Students attending classes around the country can access virtually all databases, e-journals, and e-books from any location. Additionally, the library will mail printed books to students as well. Students can also borrow books from any Utah academic library. Take advantage of all library services and learn more at libguides.usu.edu/rcde.
If you live within 20 miles or less from a campus, you should use the testing center at that campus. Otherwise, visit the Materials & Testing Services website to find a USU Certified Proctor near you. While exams proctored at USU locations for USU students are free, some proctors do charge for their services.
Free tutoring is available in a variety of subjects one-on-one, either face-to-face or online. Online tutoring is also available through eTutoring.org and the Academic Resource center. Check out all your tutoring options to stay ahead this semester.
